Pakistani mobile operator Warid Telecom has renewed its managed services agreement with Ericsson for three years. The recent agreement has signed between the both companies in during the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain.
Under the terms of the renewed contract, Warid will aim to improve network performance, first line and second line support, field services and better coverage. The agreement also includes the management of 2G and LTE network.
Warid Telecom chairman Adeel Bajwa commented on the agreement and said that Warid have ten years of experience with Ericsson and this long term partnership has made clear all the needs and requirements of Warid to Ericsson. He also told that Ericson is also providing help to improve Warid network coverage for GSM services.

As our technology partner, Ericsson has provided us best platform and high quality telecom services in our successful launch of LTE in Pakistan.
Ericsson and Warid Telecom first joined hands in 2005 with signing the first managed services contract.
